來舉例一些序數吧：

序數規律

1. first (1st ), second (2nd ), third (3rd ), fourth,…, nineteenth (4th,…, 19th )

2. twenty – twentieth (20th )

3. twenty-one = twenty-first (21st ), …., 29th

4. thirty – thirtieth (30th )

5. hundred – hundredth (100th )

6. thousand – thousandth (1000th )

   some notes:

   five –fifth

   eight – eighth

   nine – ninth

   twelve - twelfth

小節-序數規律

1. 從4 – 19，直接 + th

2. -ve 字尾，去ve + fth (five - fifth)

3. -e字尾，去e + th (nine - ninth)

4. -ty字尾(20,30,40…, 90)，去y + ieth (thirty - thirtieth)

幾分之幾怎麼說~?

1. 一般表示：
   1/5: one-fifth

   1/20: one-twentieth

   1/100: one-hundredth

   
   

2. 分母為2，有「一半half」之意：

   1/2: one-half

   3/2: three-halves (分子>1，分母字尾+s。自偉為f，要去f+ves)

   
   

3. 分子>1，分母字尾+s：

   2/5: two-fifths

   5/8: five-eighths

   3/1000: three-thousandths

   
   

4. 帶分數：
   2 又 1/4: two and one-fourth

   6 又 2/15: six and two-fifteenths

   
   

5. 那1/4怎麼說？

   a quarter就是四分之一的意思囉~
