so as to的用法是什麼？

在文章或是選擇題的選項中，常常會看到 so as to，你知道它確切的意思和用法嗎？今天就一起來看看吧！

so as to 表示「為了；以便」

so as to 其實是用來「表達目的」的一個句型，中文意思為「為了；以便」，和 in order to 的用法是一樣的喔！

句型：S + V + so as to + 原形V... / S + V + (in order) to + 原形V...

(※注意：in order to 的 in order 可以做省略)

ex.) I get up early so as to / (in order) to stay healthy.

(為了保持健康，我會早起。)

相關用法

除了用 so as to 來表示目的外，也可以使用 so that 或 in order that 來表示目的喔！

句型：S + V + so that + S + V... / S + V + in order that + S + V...

※注意：此句型和 so as to / (in order) to 最大的差別在於：
so as to / (in order) to 的後面是接「原形動詞」

so that / in order that 的後面則是接「S + V」

我們用 so that / in order that 來改寫上面的例句：

ex.) I get up early so that / in order that I can stay healthy.

(為了保持健康，我會早起。)

結論

so as to 主要是用來表達目的的句型，也可以代換成 in order to，後面都是要接上原形動詞喔！

同樣能夠表示目地的句型，則是可以改用 so that / in order that 的句型，但是後面就要變成接上句子 (S + V) 喔！
