while 中文是什麼意思？有哪些用法？
while ( conjunction) -在…. 的時候
during the time that , or at the same time as
例句：
While I was in Japan , I often went to Tokyo tower.
在日本的時候，我經常去東京塔。
while ( conjunction) -雖然
despite ; although
例句：
While I do not fully agree your point of view , I respect your perspective.
雖然我不完全同意你的觀點，但我尊重你的觀點。
while ( conjunction) -但是
but
例句：
I work overtime every day while Peter always finishes work on time.
我每天都加班，而彼得總是按時完成工作。

1、連詞. 在……期間；在……的過程中；與……同時；（對比兩件事物）……而；雖然，儘管；直到……為止
2、名詞. 一段時間；（詩、文）在此期間
3、副詞 在……時候
4、藉此. 直到
英文讀音：英 [waɪl] 美 [waɪl]
例句 :
While aesthetics are important , function is more important .
雖然美觀是很重要，但是實用更加重要。
While you were in university ?
當你還在上大學的時候？

而給予股東們一個管理人員工資的說法。

while 是一個出現率極高的字，但是它的用法卻不盡相同，讓我們來看一下，要如何將它歸類和造句吧！
while有三大主要用法，我們來看一下如何使用！
1) 『當...的時候』
用來表示當某件事情發生時，另一件事也發生了，這時候的while可以
放句中也可以放句首。
同義詞有『during』＆『when』
<Example>
While I was taking a shower, the phone rang.
(= The phone rang while I was taking a shower.)
當我在洗澡的時候，電話響了。
2) 『雖然...』或『儘管...』
同義詞有『although』
<Example>
While Bruno Mars has never been to Taiwan, he is still quite popular there!
(= Although Bruno Mars has never been to Taiwan, he is still quite
popular there!)
雖然Bruno Mars從來沒有來過台灣，但是他在台灣仍然很有名！
3) 『但...』
用來表示立場或是想法不同
同義詞有『whereas』、『on the other hand』
<Example>
While my husband likes living in Taiwan, I prefer Australia.
(= My husband likes living in Taiwan, while I prefer Australia.)
我老公喜歡住在台灣，但是我比較喜歡住在澳洲。
注意標點符號喔！
while 在不同的用法裡面會有不同的標點符號使用方式，有時候有逗號，有時候沒有！書寫的時候要小心喔～
