I'm very clear in my explanations and have neutral received pronunciation so students understand me quite easily. Students preparing for IELTS, CAE or FCE. Will maximise the time we have together to work on your weaknesses and build your confidence. I'm very flexible about hours and I leave it to the student to be responsible and realistic about what they want to achieve. I'm very friendly but quite direct in my teaching style. I like honesty with my students and a bit of realism in their aims. If there is a particular weakness, e.g. the present perfect, I like to work on it and make sure the student can use it properly. I don't like fluent but messy English, so "cleaning up" is paramount.
