Hello and a warm welcome from the beautiful City of Cape Town in South Africa. My name is Pieter and I am available to help you with your English needs. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Science as well as a Honours and Master’s degree in Business Administration. In 2014, I completed a TEFL certificate in Bangkok and then went on to teach conversational English to grade 9 and grade 11 students at U-Thong high school in Thailand. In the 1990’s I was a part time college lecturer for 10 years. I also have experience working with school groups of all ages, driving various campaigns since 1986. I have recently decided to get involved with teaching English online. My focus will be on what you want to achieve. Maybe you just want to have a casual conversation to improve your speaking skills or perhaps lessons to improve your listening, writing or reading skills? Whatever your English needs may be, I am confident that I will be able to help you achieve success. I believe learning English should be a fun experience and you will find my lessons easy, beneficial and rewarding. I am currently busy learning Spanish, so I am fully aware of the challenges facing students while learning a new language. I love nature, especially mountains and forests.
