Hello, my name is Maureen and I was born and bred in South Africa. I am 27 years old and teaching is my first love and I am very passionate about it. I have 3 years online ESL teaching experience. I am experienced in teaching both children,teens and adults. I also have almost two years experience with offline tutoring of various subjects including English, Mathematics and Science. I am very fun, interactive and enthusiastic when I teach and I love seeing my students improve it makes me very proud. I am patient and I take the time to correct students on their mistakes and I try to create a friendly and comfortable environment for my students. I think you should spend money on me because I believe that I am very good at what I do. I pay attention to my students and my students success take priority. Above all I enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds of different age groups. I am big on giving my students a chance to express themselves as this helps them gain the much needed confidence with speaking the language and this has been proven to work in improving the students grammar and pronunciation. -Teaching English to Beginners- I can offer grammar lessons, sentence building as well as vocabulary lessons. -Student who want to improve their conversational skills: Teaching English idioms, advanced vocabulary and how to use it in a sentence correctly. -Students wanting to improve their reading. I have a social teaching style, I am very sociable and I always aim for my students to be comfortable in the lessons as this will help to improve their communication and reading skills. And a comfortable learner is a learner who asks questions and will therefore achieve more.
