Hi there! My name is Dominique and I'm from a little island in the Philippines. I like to watch anime, drink tea, and read novels. Now, I'm focusing more on reading novels as it engages my imagination. Also, it helps me learn different writing styles that I can pass on to my writing students. When I was little, my family encouraged me to read English books and practice my communication skills at home. Because of this, I try to motivate my students the same way. I encourage them and I tell them tips how to improve their learning. I am a persistent teacher. I can say that I want only what's the best for my students. In line with the following, I take the learning goals of the student into account as well. Depending on your performance, I would enforce homework if there is a need to reiterate what we have learned. Moreover, for younger students, I would show a supplementary video in our class to improve (online) classroom fun and activity. I find that this is quite effective for children ages 5-7.
