Hello! My name is Verónica and I was born in Argentina. I live in a beautiful seaside city called Mar del Plata where I grew up. I took my first English class when I was nine years old and that was the beginning of my amazing relationship with the language. I started teaching at language institutes as well as private schools until in 2001 I decided to work freelance. I was hired by some local companies to train their employees in the workplace. Soon I realized I had made the right choice. I love my job and my students know it. I'm always there for them and I really enjoy watching how they learn and grow day after day. I teach them phonetics to improve their pronunciation; I use music to show them a phrasal verb and to have fun!! We also read stories so they can express their own ideas and we do listenings to work on their oral understanding of real-life situations. Motivation and trust are key words to me when I think about teaching.
