Hi, my name is Rachel and I was born and raised in the USA. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in International Studies and German and I hold a TEFL certificate. I have spent a lot of time living and working in different countries, such as Germany and Australia and I really enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I have lived and taught English in Taiwan for over 3 years, both in a traditional school and online. I have experience with students of all ages from preschoolers just beginning to learn English to adults wanting to improve their everyday English. With my own experience from learning languages, I understand that the only way to improve in a language is to practice, practice, practice. I am here to help you whatever your goal for learning English might be, whether it is to improve grades in school, feel confident using English everyday, apply for university or a job or travel. I customize each lesson based on your wants, needs and interests. I believe speaking is the key to becoming confident in a language, so that is why I dedicate 70% of each class to you speaking. We will also focus on improving listening, reading, grammar and vocabulary based on your needs.
