I taught children aged 3-12 at various International Schools in Hanoi and absolutely loved it! The best part about working at International Schools was the diverse classroom. I taught children from all over the world, including South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, India, Russia, Kazakstan, Spain, UK, US, Cuba and more. 👩‍🏫 At the last school that I taught at in Vietnam, I was the Head Teacher, which meant that I was in charge of managing the foreign teachers by making sure that their teaching was up to standard, checking lesson plans every week, designing assessments and providing training for the teachers. 🇿🇦 In 2019 I moved back to South Africa and taught at a school in the townships that worked with underprivileged children. Here I taught 8-10 year old's. I was lucky enough to be offered a chance to manage a scholarship of 100 bright teenagers. Part of my job within the scholarship was to mentor & tutor the students in English & Math. 😁 I have been teaching Science on Amazing Talker since March 2021.
