When I finished school (2008) I travelled to Netherland and did au pairing work while I travelled in Europe. I started working at a pre-school for a year (2009). I did a Dutch language course at the university of Hilversum in Netherland. In 2010 I returned to South-Africa and started my studies at CPUT Wellington, where I completed my teaching degree in B.ed4 foundation phase. My main subjects were Maths, Afrikaans, English, and Life skills. In 2014 I got my first job as a grade 2 teacher at Wolseley Primary school. In 2015 I got a government post at a farm school in Tulbagh. I am currently still working at the farm school, but I love doing online teaching part-time, meeting new students, and improving education all around the world. I am well educated and because I am still in the school system, I do training and development on a monthly basis.
