The Enjoyable Experience of Learning French

At first, I chose Mathieu as my French tutor is simply because of his low trial price (only $1 for 25 mins! ). I even asked him if he set his pricing wrong. He just kindly said” it’s a trial so I put it cheap” This was how my learning story started…

I used to learn French when I was still a college student. It took me 1 year to get 6 credits of French course only to know a bunch of grammars. I felt secure and satisfied with my final report qualified with A+. It was when I traveled to Paris last winter that I started to realize what I used to learn was just bullshit. You couldn’t imagine how embarrassing when I somehow lost my backpack and didn’t know how to utter a word to a passerby or the police for the slightest help. It was frustrated that you learn a language for quite some time, but it couldn’t help when you are in an urgent need.

I found my bag at last anyway. At that moment, I made up my mind to “learn French”. Learn the real french, I mean. And Mathieu helped me all the way to boost my confidence and corrected my pronunciation with patience. He is not the teacher type that pretends to listen to the student’s demand but used his own method. Instead, Mathieu prepares and organizes each lesson very well so far. After 2 months, magically, I found that I could speak more fluently than before. I will continue to learn with him. Let my learning story continue...
