一般來說appreciate有兩種用法。

另一方面，thank這個字所表達的就是「謝謝、感謝」的意思。

那麼，appreciate與thank在表達感謝的心情時，有什麼不同呢？

對比thank，appreciate讓人感覺更加的真誠，有種「感激不盡」的意思。「感謝」和「感激」這兩個詞，以中文來說，感激更進一步。

那其實 I appreciate you. 這個句子並不是錯的，只是語意會轉變成「我賞識你」。例如：

那在許多情境下都能運用 appreciate 這個字表達「感謝」喔：
